It's Been a Great Year!

I wish our seniors the very best as they move into the next chapter of their lives.
And to our underclassmen, I hope you have a safe summer and we will see you back in August!

New Art Mural

Thank you to Mrs. Teena Hunt, Artist in Residence Hillary Frye, and our amazing art students for painting a new mural on the fine arts hallway. The mural represents theater, band, chorus, strings, and other facets of Walhalla High School and our school community. It is beautiful and a great addition to the hallways of WHS!

WHS Exam Policy

Exam Policy - Students in grades 9 – 12 must take exams at the conclusion of each course (unless that course has a state-mandated End of Course Exam). Students must take exams at the time scheduled by the district and will not be allowed to take exams at any other time without permission.

In extenuating circumstances, students may request to take an exam at a time different from the regularly scheduled exam time. Requests will only be approved in unusual circumstances. If approved, the rescheduled exams must be taken during a time that is convenient for the teacher. To maintain test security, teachers may require students to complete the exam after the exam window. Students may not miss another class to take a rescheduled exam.

Procedures:
Step 1: The students making a request must complete this form.
Step 2: The student must have the form signed by a parent/guardian.
Step 3: The student must get approval from either Mrs. Crawford or Mrs. Ward.
All requests must be submitted by Tuesday, May 19th.
Step 4: Speak with the teacher in-person to arrange a makeup date with the teacher and sign the form.
Step 5: The student should keep the form as documentation that the exam request was approved.

Seniors must have a 70 or above for an overall average and not be over days on attendance to exempt exams. There is not appeal for exam exemption.
