Walhalla High School is proud to announce 2022 delegates to Palmetto Boys State. Current junior males were nominated by WHS faculty and staff for their leadership, interest in government, character, maturity, honesty, scholarship, and cooperativeness. Nominees were interviewed by members of the American Legion for selection to attend the annual Palmetto Boys State program. This week-long experience is a unique way for young men to learn about the American system of government and politics by participating in a mock governmental system. Additionally, they will hear from many of South Carolina's top leaders and have opportunities during the week to participate in media production, law education, performing arts, criminal justice academy, and other specialty areas of study. Congratulations to the following young men on being selected for this special honor!

Delegates: Owen Beesley, Hayden Laye, Micah Farmer, and Gerson Martinez Gutierrez

Mrs. Drisgula's Biology class recently partnered with Clemson University Nursing Students to discuss common health issues today's students face. Mental health resources were a primary point of interest in these discussions, and the Clemson students created a resource website for all Walhalla students to access. Check out Resources 4 Razorbacks, and share this valuable resource with others!
